Description

Maltodextrin is produced from the starch of corn and rice through hydrolysis, not exceeding 20 DE. It is easily digestible and absorbed as quickly as glucose. It can be moderately sweet or almost flavorless and is often better tolerated by diabetic patients. As a food additive, maltodextrin is commonly used as a base in the preparation of products such as health drinks, soups, and milkshakes.
